Jules Elvins (JE) has been steadily buying records for as long as he can remember. He has tried to stop on a handful of occasions, but with little success. His most recent relapse ended in a binge so catastrophic that he has been strongly advised not to give up again. He lives in London and works as a lawyer.
Richard Falk (RF) is a professional writer and leading international collector of progressive, psychedelic, folk-rock and heavy rock albums with female vocals. His collection spans the 60s to the present, and includes rare and unknown LPs from every corner of the globe. He lives on the Isle Of Man.
Giles Hamilton (GH) has no official background in music. He is, however, a fanatical record collector and an acid rock, metal and motorcycle enthusiast. He lives in London and works in finance.
Tony Higgins (TH) is one of the world’s leading experts on British jazz. He was associate producer of BBC TV’s acclaimed Jazz Britannia and Seven Ages Of Rock, and is co-curator of Universal’s Impressed Repressed jazz series. He lives in London.
Patrick Lundborg (PL) is curator of lysergia.com – the internet’s leading resource on psychedelic culture. Based in Stockholm, he has written several books, including The 13th Floor Elevators Complete Reference File, and recently edited The Acid Archives, the most comprehensive book ever published about 1960s and 70s US and Canadian underground music. He lives in Stockholm, Sweden.
Aaron Milenski (AM) is a lifelong record collector and enthusiast, and was lead guitarist and songwriter for the 1990s power-pop band the Palindromes. He lives in Lakewood, Ohio, but his heart is in New England, where he grew up (just ask Jonathan Richman).
Richard Morton Jack (RMJ) is a regular contributor to music magazines such as Mojo, Q and Record Collector. In 2005 he co-founded Sunbeam Records, one of the world’s leading reissue labels. He is also the author of The Bumper Book Of British Sleaze and the world’s first Led Zeppelin A-Z. He lives in London.
Dominic Stinton (DS) has loved psychedelia since the early 80s, gorging on Chocolate Soup, Syd Barrett and Vernon Joynson’s Acid Trip book, before having his mind blown truly wide open by Psycho’s Endless Journey series. He has worked in marketing and advertising for 15 years, but has so far failed to get Mandrake’s ‘Sunlight Glide’ commissioned by any TV advertiser. He lives in London.
David Wells (DW) is one of the world’s leading authorities on UK popular music. His writing has appeared in many well-known magazines, as well as innumerable CD booklets. He is the founder of the esteemed Tenth Planet and Wooden Hill record labels, and lives in Surrey.
